- W= W= কাজের পরিমাণ

- F= \mathrm{F}= বল

- s= s= সরণ

- θ= \theta= বল ও সরণের মধ্যবর্তী কোণ

यদि θ=90∘ \theta=90^{\circ} হয়, তাহলে cos⁡θ=0 \cos \theta=0 .

সুতরাং, W = F × s × 0=0.

অর্থাৎ, বল ও সরণের মধ্যবর্তী কোণ 90∘ 90^{\circ} হলে কাজের পরিমাণ O হবে।
