The pie-chart above demonstrates five sources of USA electricity in 1980. According to the pie-chart, natural
elements dominate in being the source of electricity as coal, natural gas and oil together constitute 82% of the
total sources. Coal leads the race by being the source of 46% of USA electricity followed by natural gas (24%)
and oil (12%). However, hydro-electric power ranks third by being the source of 16% of USA electricity.
Finally, nuclear energy is the source of a paltry 2% of USA electricity. This fact clearly bears an evidence of
USA as a technologically and scientifically developed country in producing electricity through means other than
natural elements.
