Shrabandhara, a green village is situated on the bank of the river Chitra. People are very nice, as the village is. Most of them are farmers. One year, due to heavy rainfall Chitra overflowed her banks.......

Shrabandhara, already a lush and close-knit village, faced its greatest challenge yet when the Chitra burst through her banks. The floodwaters surged across the fields, washing away crops and inundating humble homes studymode.Panic gripped the villagers, but their unity held fast. They gathered at the community centre, pooling ideas and resources. Raj, a young farmer, suggested they journey to the nearby town for seeds and tools, while Priya, the village teacher, proposed establishing a communal fund to support those hardest hit

They worked tirelessly—clearing debris, rebuilding embankments, and restoring shelter. Day by day, their fields began to show new life as they replanted shoots of hope. Despite the destruction, Shrabandhara’s spirit remained unbroken. Their collective effort transformed the river’s wrath into a powerful lesson: in unity, there is renewa.
