February, a colourful Book Fair was organised in the Bangla Academy premises. It continued from 1

February. Hundreds of book stalls were set up for this occasion. The book stalls were decorated very artistically. The whole Bangla Academy premises wore a festive look.

A huge crowd of people were seen moving from one stall to another. They were seen to be very eager to buy books.

A great variety of books were seen in different stalls. People of different ages were buying books of their likes and tastes.

Some of the famous literary figures of our country also came to the fair. Anisul Haque, Imdadul Haque Milon, Jafar Ikbal, Selina Hossain were among them. They were surrounded by a lot of fans. They seemed to feel tired of giving autographs.

Some reportrs from various TV channels and newspapers were seen to take interviews of the literary figures. Many foreigners were also seen visiting the fair and conversing with people.

The seminar holding at the foot of a tree was another attraction of the book fair. Many people attended the seminar enthusiastically.
