Sir,
I, on behalf of the students of your college, would like to inform you that we feel the acute need of an English language club at our college compound. English language is the demand of the day. We need proficiency in English for higher education, trade and commerce and also for getting a good job. Besides, we have to face a free-hand writing test of 40 marks in our English second paper. Only a 40 minute period is not sufficient to perform all the language learning activities successfully. In particular, there is very little scope for our speaking practice during our classes. Hence, we feel the need for setting up an English language club at our college.
I, therefore, would like to request you to consider our interest and take necessary steps to organize an English language club as well as provide every assistance from your side for its establishment.
