x2a2+y2b2=1\dfrac{x^{2}}{a^{2}} + \dfrac{y^{2}}{b^{2}}=1 উপবৃত্তের নিয়ামকের সমীকরণ, x=± aex = \pm\ \dfrac{a}{e}

a=ba=b হলে, e=1−b2a2=1−a2a2=0e=\sqrt{1-\dfrac{b^{2}}{a^{2}}}=\sqrt{1-\dfrac{a^{2}}{a^{2}}}=0

∴x=± a0⇒x=∞\therefore x = \pm\ \dfrac{a}{0}\Rightarrow x=\infty
