If $(5,-4)$ and $(-3,2)$ are two opposite vertices of square then its area is -

Given $(5,-4)$ & $(-3,2)$ are two opposite vertices of square then.
$AC=\sqrt{(5+3)^2+(-4-2)^2}$
$AC=\sqrt{64+36}=10cm$
Now in $\triangle ADC$
$x^2+x^2=100$
$x^2=50$
[x=side of square]
Hence the area of square $=50$ sq. unit.
