aThe chart presents the number of people using mobile phone and Internet in Bangladesh from 2014 to 2018. There is a remarkable difference between the users of mobile phone and Internet. In 2014, there were 115 million mobile phone users compared to only 15 million Internet users in the country. Mobile Phone users continued to rise by 7 and 10 million for the next two years, while Internet users rose by 4 and 2 million in the mentioned period. However, in 2017 mobile phone users dropped by 2 million while Internet users rose by as high as 46 million. Next, people using mobile phone jumped to 140 million and Internet leapt to 81 million in 2018.
